Welcome New Faculty: Dr. Joseph Rich and Dr. Hayley Ford
The department Welcomes Alumni Dr. Joseph Rich and Dr. Hayley Ford as New FacultyThe Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering is thrilled to announce the addition of two new faculty members to the team: Dr. Joseph Rich and Dr. Hayley Ford. In a unique homecoming, both professors are returning to the department after receiving their undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering from BYU in 2020.

This year Chemical Engineering matriculated 55 BS, 2 MS, and 1 PhD students. We wish them all the best in their future.
ChemE Founders Fund
The Founder Fund is a Chemical & Biological Engineering Department top priority, dedicated to supporting mostly foreign graduate students with Chemical & Biological Engineering undergraduate degrees who have served the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often through missionary work. These students commonly need to take some upper-division undergraduate courses to strengthen their preparation, after which they are able to succeed in our graduate program.
